the funktion is led by Director, Peter Nizic. Peter is a designer, VFX compositor, motion graphic designer & animator that has worked in the motion industry for the last 4 years. Previous to that, he worked as a graphic designer for more than 6 years before making the switch to the motion industry.

Since graduating from the College of Fine Arts, UNSW, Peter worked primarily with multi-award winning VFX and 3D animation studio, Mighty Nice in Sydney. After leading teams on various high end TVCs, he decided it was time to break free and focus on directing his own projects.

A filmmaker at heart, Peter has written and directed a few short films and his first documentary in 2008, "Excessive Behaviours", was a finalist in the 2009 ATOM Awards. Since then he has directed and produced a music video for Pave Leclair's single, "What she did that day" and co-directed a TV commercial for Australian health insurance company, Peoplecare, as well as several motion graphic pieces. It is early days in the directing career for Peter, but he is determined to make it a successful one.

Peter is currently working on several side projects including a stop motion animated web series and a visual effects heavy short film drama.
